Mission:
DMHWC mission is to provide transitional housing to homeless single women and women with children. We seek to promote self-esteem, self-confidence and advanced training empowering each participant.

About the Executive Director

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Freda Bullock is the Founder and Executive Director of Dorothy Mae Hall Women’s Center (The Center). Ms. Bullock founded The Center in an effort to give back to the community after observing the lack of resources; including affordable housing for low- income families.

Our mission is to provide diapers, equipping families with a necessary tool to increase their mental and physical health and wellbeing. A diaper CAN change a life. Diaper Train is committed to a future where every family in Wake County has access to this basic need.

The Green Chair Project

The Green Chair Project reuses essential furnishings donated by our community to help neighbors in need facing the challenges of homelessness, crisis or disaster. Lives change when families and individuals are nurtured and sustained in well-equipped homes.

Dress for Success

DRESS FOR SUCCESS

Dress for Success Triangle serves employed and unemployed women in the Triangle by providing a network of support, professional attire and development tools to help women thrive in work and in life.

Wake County Government

Regional Centers bring County services to residents in outlying communities. Many residents and workers in East Raleigh, Knightdale, Wendell and Zebulon visit the Eastern Regional Center to learn about and access services from multiple county departments in one convenient location.
