Mission:
The Center's mission is to provide transitional housing to homeless single women and women with children. We seek to promote self-esteem, self-confidence and advanced training empowering each participant.

About the Executive Director

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Freda Bullock is the Founder and Executive Director of Dorothy Mae Hall Women’s Center (The Center). Ms. Bullock founded The Center in an effort to give back to the community after observing the lack of resources; including affordable housing for low- income families.

Provides diapers and hygiene supplies to families in need across Wake County.

The Green Chair Project

Furnishes homes with donated furniture and move-in essentials for families transitioning to stability.

Dress for Success Triangle

Offers professional attire and career support to help clients prepare for employment.

Wake County – Eastern Regional Center

County services, referrals, and coordinated resources for women and families we serve.

Cake4Kids

Cake4Kids partners with agencies helping at-risk or underserved youth (1–24) in foster care, shelters, transitional housing, and similar programs.
